About Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is more than just a pleasant scent — it’s a science-based way to support how we feel, think, and relax.
When you inhale essential oils, tiny aromatic molecules travel through the nose directly to the limbic system — the part of the brain connected to emotions, stress, and memory. That’s why certain natural scents can calm the nervous system, improve focus, or gently lift your mood. A candle made with real essential oils doesn’t just fragrance a room — it creates an atmosphere that influences your emotional state.
I choose to use pure essential oils in my candles because they come directly from plants — flowers, leaves, and resins — without synthetic fragrance substitutes. My oils are ISO 9235 certified. This certification means the oil is officially recognized as a 100% natural aromatic substance of plant origin, with strict standards for purity and authenticity. It guarantees that what you smell is truly derived from nature, not recreated in a lab.
Candles made with certified natural essential oils are rare. Most candles on the market use synthetic fragrance oils because they are cheaper, more stable, and easier to mass-produce. Pure essential oils are expensive, delicate, and require careful formulation to burn safely and effectively. That’s why candles with ISO-certified natural oils are uncommon — but they offer a cleaner, more authentic aromatherapy experience.
For me, using essential oils isn’t just a design choice. It’s about creating candles that support intentional moments — calm evenings, emotional reset, and gentle rituals that reconnect us with nature.
