Hi, my name is Irina.

Originally, I’m from Russia. Twelve years ago I moved to New York, and two years ago life brought me to beautiful Texas, where I now live with my son John.

A few years ago, I became completely overwhelmed by life. I was exhausted, emotionally drained, constantly overstimulated, and dealing with terrible daily headaches. As a single mom trying to balance work, responsibilities, stress, and real life, I realized that simply “going to sleep” was not enough. My body was tired, but my nervous system never truly relaxed.

That’s when I started learning about aromatherapy, nervous system regulation, and how even just a simple 15-minute evening ritual can completely change the way we feel.

I searched for calming aromatherapy products that felt beautiful, natural, and truly comforting — but I struggled to find candles made with ingredients I personally trusted and scents designed specifically for deep relaxation and emotional recovery.

So I started creating my own.

Every candle at Sychugova Candle House is handcrafted with clean coconut–soy wax and natural fragrance blends that contain pure essential oils, carefully designed to help create moments of calm, emotional balance, deep sleep, and nervous system relaxation.

My candles are not just about making a room smell good. They are designed to become part of a simple evening ritual at the end of a long overwhelming day — because even just 15 minutes can change a lot. A moment to slow down, breathe deeply, turn off the noise, and allow your body and mind to finally rest.

When I started creating these small evening rituals for myself, everything slowly began to change. My evenings became calmer, my mind felt less overwhelmed, my headaches became less intense, and for the first time in a long time I felt like my body could truly relax and recover. That feeling is what inspired me to create Sychugova Candle House and share these moments of calm with other women who feel exhausted, overstimulated, and emotionally drained.

Picked up the Chamomile Flowers and Lavandin candle and really liked it. It’s super calming without being too strong — just a clean, relaxing scent.

Been lighting it at night and it’s perfect. Already ordered another.

This candle is absolutely beautiful and smells incredible. The aroma fills the room without being overpowering and creates such a relaxing atmosphere. I especially love the wooden wick—it gently crackles like a small fireplace, which makes the whole experience feel cozy and special. This has quickly become one of my favorite candles. The presentation is beautiful, with thoughtful packaging that includes a personalized note and clearly labeled ingredient cards. The scent fills my apartment in a pleasant way without being overpowering, and I appreciate that it is made with natural ingredients. The thick cherry wood wick creates a soft crackling sound as it burns, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I also love how the flower melts into a subtle shimmer on the surface of the candle. I’m very sensitive to candles and usually get headaches, and my cat’s eyes always water with scented products. This is the first candle that hasn’t caused any reaction for either of us. The scent is beautiful but not overwhelming, and you can really tell it’s all natural. The handmade box was such a lovely bonus-I kept it as decor and jewelry storage.
